Me (and others) driving Defender and Range Rover at Solihull Land Rover Experience, April Solihull 2012.

The tour of the factory beforehand was fantastic.

Thumbs Up Great vid!

Always wanted to have a go at a LRE day. The Solihull one sounds like a winner with a factory tour too...

Was that the engine management light lit on the Defender too?

That is a great question, I wanted to know that. Also, there was a red one illuminated. As I've lost my 110 manual, I'm not sure which it was but I came home wondering. We had to reset (switch off and on again) at one point. It was like a red "blower" on the dashboard warning, not the one easily seen on the video which was yellow.

It was great though. Factory tour great.

Was it the 2.2 engine? If so wonder if the red light was anything to do with particulate filter? I thought the yellow one might have been the diff lock, but on mine (2.4) that warning light is on the speedo, unless they've shifted the lights around on the new ones.

It was a pre-2012 MY, so 2.4 engine. It wasn't the diff-lock because that was always engaged but you can't see it in the middle of the dash.

You can't see the red light I saw, just the amber one.

Now, it actually are LR Experience (if it is them?) who make a total joke of THEMSELVES Exclamation

Not only is the "I'm so sorry" blond wearing FLIP FLOPS Shocked Exclamation but,....

also the instructor is a Mr. FLIP FLOPS himself Shocked Rolling Eyes

And then that bike helmet Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter

How can this pass with the organizers, they know the risk that such films get posted on the web Question Question Question

One word only, whoever this is show a pityful attitude towards safety here Embarassed Embarassed You never actually own a Defender. You merely look after it for the next generation.

Looking at it I'm not convinced thats anything to do with LREx, black Defender for a start and the instructor is in civvies...I think LREx has somewhat higher standards from my experience. Plus that 110 is at least six years old (no bonnet bulge)
