Well I have it back at last........
1. the engine has been filled with mobile fully synthetic oil! Need to check if that is alright! 2. The muppets only stamped the book, and didn't tick the corrosion check or brack fluid replacement so need to check that! 3.The rear brakes had uneven wear so they are clattering 4. There is a squeal of something binding in the back so need to investigate that! 5. I has been cleaned inside and out but not found a clean Part yet! 6. They for some reason thought I would be happy to pay full price for the B service after Being 3 weeks late! Needles to say that didn't happen 
7. I can already see they didn't repaint on of the rusty load guard brackets. 8. The turbo has developed a rather loud whistle from time to time. So to sum it up an absolutely fantastic service form Lancasters and another happy customer!  what a bunch of  pigs Russell

Well I have now had the defender back Andorra a week and been able to review all the documents and get a feel for the vehicle again. I've also just had a chat with the garage who evidently don't know how to service a defender
I can report that the brake fluid has not been replace as per the front of the service book and I can also report that the corrosion check has not been completed! And to rub salt in the wound a screeching/grinding should has appeared between 60 & 65 mph 
The response I have got back from the garage is I don't know what I'm talking about they know more about service intervals that me, well that was until I told him to look in a service log book and read what I tell you. To which the idiot has admitted they haven't been servicing defender properly for the last 5 years!

Just got my wifes' Freelander back from Ascot. Collected from home and returned afterwards, washed, polished and vacuumed. I've no idea whether they've changed the oil of course, but I can't fault their customer service
