I use Miller's Diesel EcoMax in my Td5, definitely makes a difference. Engine runs smoother and quieter and seems to pull more readily. Use it in the Golf as well and gives around 5mpg benefit going by the computer read out. 2005 Td5 | 90 Station Wagon | Tonga Green

2 stroke. We are still debating here as to it's benefits, if any. I find it makes the engine run very smoothly. Can't say if it benefits mpg but as the vehicle goes for it's first mot on Thursday I'll find out what it does for emissions. 1982 88" 2.25 diesel

Although the vehicle passed and the pass limit for smoke is 3.0/M I thought my reading would have been even lower.Last year the 1992 200 tdi had a reading of .150/M with 2 stroke. 1982 88" 2.25 diesel 1992 110 200tdi csw -Zikali 2008 110 2.4 tdci csw-Zulu 2011 110 2.4 tdci csw-Masai |

Hi All WHY? I have read several threads on this and other forums about what additives to use but why do you use them? Is there any actual NEED for an additive, personally I never use them as I believe that the fuel is fit for purpose and the Land Rover dealer sees no reason for people to use them so are you just throwing more good money into your tank for any good reason? |
