Stainless steel window catch/locks sold?
One of the tackiest bits on my Defender are the catch/locks on side sliding windows.
The paint blistered earlier than any other part.

Are there stainless steel catch/locks (or better yet key locking ones) that can replace the originals? Land Rover Defenders. 67 years heritage, minimal appearance changes, still going strong all over the world. Not a fashion vehicle, but fashionable to own. Made for the needy, not the greedy. Ta ta Defender

Here's something I posted a while ago and they are still fine after treatment nearly 18 months later....

Window catches too on the exterior rot like bu99ery as do the old non functional hinge blocks below the windscreen! Take them back to bare metal and give them a couple of decent coats of 'Plastikote' available from B &Q! Not a totally permanent cure but until Croytec (with whom I have spoken with) come up with a solution it's better than swapping them out under warranty every 6 months or so, I cannot be ar5ed with the continual inconvenience of dealers over items that will just rot time and time again!!!
If you go through life with your head in the sand....all people will see is an ar5e!!

Treat every day as if it is your last....one day you will be right!!
