If you want to look good then the Ebay bar gives you the best bang for your buck as our cousins across the pond say. If you want something that is up for the job then you will need to spend more.

Vsion X is made in the Far East always has been and always will be - they now have a new factory there.

A 42 " Vison X bar is 240 Watts and 14400 lumens for the same electrical power ie 240W we do a lamp that is 40,000 lumens so three times more light for the same electrical power.

The bar on Ebay is only 180W or 10,800 lumens

You pay your money and you take your chance......

download the technical drawings from their site and you'll see the chinese stamps on them Rolling Eyes
We have a fibreoptics company in our group, they sourced the visionx led lights for me. it was one of their suppliers in china but contract bound to go over european (belgian) and US dealer.Of course if you would like to buy a container at once they could rebrand and sell directly.
all this marketing "made in .... " BS makes me Evil or Very Mad

rant over

Smile

maybe for visionx, but JW Speaker and Rigid Industries are USA through and through

just had confirmation RI: "All of our light bars are designed, engineered and assembled in Mesa, AZ. "

The important part about manufacturer is missing Mr. Green

Not really as most of it is wasted through inefficiency such as optical and design losses you will be lucky to have 30% of that figure left to actually light up the road. Meaning that you could buy a well engineered less powerful product that will actually be brighter.

As you have said yourself it will look good with your roof rack and that is a great reason to buy it as the price is nice and low.

If you want something to work well and rely on then I am not sure I would buy it.
