Wales 2009 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 XS DCPU Tonga Green
I am soooo happy to have my Land Rover back in my hands (even with dodgy rear brakes). It really does make me happy and the thought of the dealer is fading away......

Went to one of the places I get parts from for work who has just expanded from a shop doing batteries and is now doing most things like brakes, oil, service kits etc..... and at a good price to regular customers and trade so for 10 Euro less than Land Rover charged for changing the pads (about a 20 min job) I now have a set of TRW disks and pads waiting to go on the truck...... not too bad considering they are who make the LR genuine parts!!

Just have to tie up the complain to the regional manager now and next Wednesday take the old bu99ered pads back to the Land Rover service manager..... and basically tell him what I think.

Then a nice drive back across the flats......... I let the missus go first in her Feroza, but the ute really does go soooooo much beter Wink

Really, it should read 'Every (Most) Land Rover Dealer is a specialist (in extracting money) with (one or two)factory trained technicians and a fully equipped service workshop (although most of the special tools appear to be lost someplace).' Rolling with laughter At least that appears to be the case around this part of the world.

I think that is what is should say in the Cypriot owners manual. Rolling with laughter Rolling with laughter
