white smoke and high pitch turbo noise
hi all started up my 300tdi today from cold and it produced some white smoke which seem to vanish after three quaters of a mile then there was a high pitched noise that sounded like a turbo noise .i pulled up and stoped engine lifted bonnet to check pipes then started again and it sounded normal then when it was started rest of the afternoon it produced the normal cloud of black smoke.
any ideas
