MAYHEM!! 2DAY WINCH EVENT
any of you guy fancy doing a challenge event in may that me and a mate are putting together?
hosted by AE4X4 club in sw scotland.
you can camp on site fri + sat nights and two full days competing.
£50 entry but you need to be an ae club member (msa rules) £15 to join £15 years membership
so thats £80. co drivers can join for £5 all in but cannot drive in events (msa red tape)
there is a thread on www.devon4x4.co.uk and of course www.ae4x4club.org.uk.
you can PM me or ring the number listed on ae4x4 forum (not my number due to phone issues)
as a club we have at least 12 diffrent events a year and we are a friendly bunch.
so any takers Question
thanks for reading
steve
PS.
if any interest i will keep this thread updated. 110 xs s/wagon

19-20 may.
minimum 25 set stages (probably more) plus bonus punches.
single cars, no team work. you draw a stage number before start thats your first stage, then move around numerically. (if you don't fancy one you just move to next).
msa license required (well spotted)
it's a fair drive up for you but we had simon buck (devon4x4) up at 2010 bask'ille and he thought it well worth the trip.
helmets required a cage is reccomended, bridging ladders ect,ect
site has it all steep, mud, water, rocks not to mention fantastic views all round.
site is a hill about 100 acres with a transmitter/relay station on top, 1000ft ish
