No Longer WTD: OzTent RV5 purchase
Hey all,

We will be buying a new RV5 at the weekend with floor saver, extra side panels and additional front.

So what? I thought that I would post up here in case that anyone was looking to move an excellent condition one on. Mutually beneficial through me saving money and someone getting a quick hassle free sale (must be in the south if any exist)

I know the oztent positives and positives and drawbacks from using one of TFCs for two weeks in all weathers on last years rally (cheers mate) and there is no real alternative available.

Chuck me a PM if you want to discuss a potential deal Thumbs Up

Will do, I am keen to find out if using the extra sides and door are viable for anything more than breezy weather and if they are actually worth putting up. Getting a demo at the dealer before giving the cash, but I can't see us not buying those extras too. Captain Nick Medhurst would ask:

I have an RV2 and would say that with the sides and front on the tent is actally more secure in high winds.

We have had ours up in North Wales during a very bead storm and were quite comfortable inside while smaller 3 and 4 season tents were folding up. 2002 Defender 110 DC

I have an RV5 with the delux side panels and front etc. anything longer than one might and it's deffo worth putting it all up. Once you've done it a couple times it only takes a few minutes. I've labeled all my poles and then marked them for set up on level ground. Just takes slight adjustment if ground is uneven and job done!!
