Sounds a pukka job Stoker Whistle

Kona I use Armorall interior stuff (don't know how you spell it!) but it doesn't last long and any of those black polish potions but they are useless as well, first bit of rain and they streak and poor down your bodywork. I'm no expert on it so if anyone can recommend any decent products I'm all ears Thumbs Up

WD-40 brings things up beautifully and strips things off nicley Shocked but remember it's basically a mix of white spirits and oil, a polish based product would be better for protection.

I only use it for things like the grill, mirrors black powder coat stuff. Works a treat for that. Supagard shampoo for bodywork and occasionally Meguire's quick wax. Not often though at £12 a bottle Shocked Only downside to WD inside is the smell. But no one should mind a bit of industrial air freshener for a short while Whistle Laughing

AutoGlym vinyl & rubber care is pretty good, lasts quite well, doesn't streak too badly and won't run. if you're feeling flush there's always the option of Gtechniq C4 which is the best you can buy, but it doesn't come cheap! http://gtechniq.com/shop/3s-for-cars/exter...-restorer/

If you're just looking to keep it looking shiny and protected, and not too bothered about paint correction, AutoGlym Super Resin Polish, followed by AutoGlym HD Wax gives good results. the SRP is a filler, so won't correct the paint but will give it a more glossy appearance for a while. As already said the higher the carnauba in the wax then the better generally. Zymol do some really good quality waxes, but are expensive. Dodo Juice do some very reputable products too.
At the end of the day, with Detailing it can escalate almost without bounds, no need to go spending thousands on products that are for garage queens..
