Battery Fuse
Hi all
I'm finally getting around to fitting two optima batteries but i'm having problems with the positive connector. The metal arm from the fuse to the positive terminal is not long enough to fit the optima positive terminal. It would be easy to delete the fuse but that's probably not a good idea Shocked so any suggestions would be very welcome.

but now you have the optima's get a seperate mega fuse holder

I've never had any probs with optimas so no need to change to any other. Thumbs Up

Can anyone recommend a supplier for a new 500 amp fuse holder. Smile 130 crew cab

AES or VWP would be a good start, or maybe try RS components

Do you realise using 500A fuses you will need to use 70mm2 cable?

We do a twin pack using 300A fuses (35mm2 min)

So this is two fuses holders & three fuses. If you just want a single

Most of the people linked to do not go above 250A

The cables are ok, it's just the metal connector on top of the fuse that isn't long enough to reach the terminal on an optima battery. Maybe i can just weld on a longer bar rather than replace everything.

Is the battery fuse on the puma different to a td5 ? 130 crew cab
