with valentines just around the corner there may be an opportunity to say thanks back
![]() (although depends on exactly what a 1.7 diesel actually is ?) living where you do, it's probably a good idea to keep a 4x4 |

I love mine too. She's always been very supportive about my Defender ownership, and never given me any hassle about buying stuff for it (apart from calling it 'Trigger's broom', and always refering to this site as 'Daddy porn') ![]() Pete |

Hmmmm be careful she must want something - this act of kindness will be used in evidence against you.

Good to hear there are a few more 'ladies that love landies' out there.
Dave and I have a Defender each, plus the Range Rover (technically his but I probably drive it just as much if not more!) However, would be nice to see them around the forums from time to time. Seems there is only me and Barbara here so far! |

My wife falls in love with our Defender the first time that she drove it.
Probably she will prefer to change her husband (me) rather than the Defender Cheers Eduardo MY 2007 110 SW PUMA 2.4: Big Fog of 64' MY 1994 Jayco 1207 Folding camper: "El Tremendo" ![]() Click image to enlarge |

My wife is brilliant. She has put up with my passion for Land Rovers for years. She has even lived through me rebuilding a S2a on the driveway, and using her garden to store most of the big bits, but it was her who made me a fanatic in the first place.
She was the one who originally decided that her Cavalier SRi was not good enough to transport 3 kids, and decided that a 200tdi Disco would be better. So we have had Discoveries in the household ever since, 200tdi, D2, 2 x D3. Last December, she got a job with the National Trust, so she made me buy a Defender TD5 CSW. I had no choice. She calls me a LR nut, and says when I die, she will bury me in one, but in reality its all her fault. ![]() 1966 S2a 109 aka Betsy |

My wife is good too but there again she new what she was getting as I owned LR's for many years before I met and married her. Steve.
Owned numerous Land Rover vehicles of all shapes and sizes over the decades. Current Defender: A non tarts hand-bagged Puma 110 XS USW. [Insert something impressive here such as extensive list of previous Land Rovers or examples of your prestigeous and expensive items, trinkets, houses, bikes, vehicles etc] http://forums.lr4x4.com I used to be Miserable ...but now I'm ecstatic. |

Well what can I say about my wife
![]() I had a 50th anniversary discovery, my first land rover which I loved (she also wrote it off 2 years ago ![]() Then when she wrote of my discovery she refused to drive anything that didn't have a green oval badge on the front, and six months later we bought our 110 XS USW. She is now waiting for use to have enough space so she can have her own defender or an evoque. Not forgetting she is more excited about the idea of a roof tent than I am. My OH is registered on here as well - just keeps quiet (for once ![]() When I met her she had a Defender 90 TR (it was at a Gaydon Show) and now has a Disco 50th. She actively encourages me to buy Landrovers (not that I need it) ![]() http://www.hampshire4x4response.co.uk 2011 Tdci 110 CSW XS |
