I'm sure you'll have seen these type of videos on YouTube, and all I can say is that they're impressively stupid..

They use rental cars, which is why the numberplates are usually removed or covered up, so if you ever visit Saudi there's a good chance the car you hire will have spent half it's life going sideways at 120mph... Highly illegal and from what I understand most of the people who take part that are caught are in prison. Although the police don't really stand much of a chance catching anyone... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M1xb6r0Aql0 It seems to be a popular pastime, so I can't understand why someone somewhere hasn't hasn't bought a big plot of land (there's plenty of it) and created some sort of place people can do this kind of thing in a controlled environment. I'm not expert at this sort of thing but not only isn't it going to do your tires any good I'd go as far as to say it could be dangerous too !
