Why not just fill the top (of the bolt) with glue, takes hours to get out! Simples.

Thought about all options, including sticking with my bikelock (PITA) and filling screwheads with polyurethane glue but decided to go with some stainless LRS ones (ta Westfield) that they will black powder coat for me. Together with some "weird" screws, the bonnet should be pretty nick-proof. Also, my 110 is just blue and black now and they will match the black plate on the bonnet - cool

I actually NEED the chequerplate to cover all the dents in the bonnet I made whilst sealing my sodding windscreen
