Lovely job Warpig, and a great inspiration - my CSW V8 is currently halfway though the exact same transformation, even down to the colour. If she turns out as well as yours I'll be delighted! Fully Restored 89 110 CSW V8

Interesting about the doors. I don't know what's in them normally. What's in yours looks like asbestos (but of course isn't) perhaps some kind of filth (sorry, I mean Police) light protection against human beings?
I wish LR offered galv chassis on the Defender or even had it as standard. |

Looks excellent War Pig, please make sure its locked down, too many going walk abouts recently near us.
YEB have dug my drive up to get to a fault, so mine has been in sight all weekend, havent slept well to be honest! A fitter i worked with drove from Saville Street to Brinsworth in an old citroen with only the drivers seat and a steering wheel in the car, windows, doors every thing out and a bit of rope holding him in! Right sight! |

Just about to embark on a similar project.
Picked up a 2001 TD5 CSW with only 57k on the clock for a tad under 4k this week!! Looks rough as it's been converted to a utility shape (ie no rear windows) has a few dinks and dents and the paint was white and has been badly painted on the outside only. Planning a full interior/exterior respray in epsom green and a new set of alloys, should look great Andy |

Thanks everyone
I know exactly how you feel, im currently having the outside of my house re-rendered and Ive got to park it on the road during the day . But its either that, or have the workmen scratch it with their ladders |

Fitting the RR seats is still on my 'to do list'. Got to find a local welder to weld some fixing plates to the seat rails. Im looking forward to getting them fitted though. |

How are you getting on with her Warpig? I really fancy doing a TDi one day £1600 for the respray was a good deal, the chassis swap price also
