Do what Erm, OK if you have a proper spray gun and compressor but would look a patchy mess with aerosols - thought this was a fun muck about LR

If it's a vinyl coated type headlining then I have used a product called vinylcote to good effect in the past. Steve.
Owned numerous Land Rover vehicles of all shapes and sizes over the decades. Current Defender: A non tarts hand-bagged Puma 110 XS USW. [Insert something impressive here such as extensive list of previous Land Rovers or examples of your prestigeous and expensive items, trinkets, houses, bikes, vehicles etc] http://forums.lr4x4.com I used to be Miserable ...but now I'm ecstatic. |

I used something-from-Halfords-in-a-spraycan to paint my sunvisors dark grey over 11 years ago, and fair play - they still look good.
Whether you'd get good coverage on a larger area like the whole headlining is another matter. What about recovering it (with dark fabric)? 1988 90 Td5 NAS soft top 2015 D90 XS SW |

spraying the inside black is going to make it look small and more difficult to find stuff in the dark
