Marrakech
Going to Marrakech in March for a weekend (unfortunately Land Rover is staying at home Sad ) however I was wondering if anyone had been and had any recommendations for either Accommodation or things to do? Also any tips on behaviour and stuff in a different culture? Never really experienced anything like North Africa before!

Cheers

Definitely a good idea. Been on Tripadvisor having a wee browse and all the top rated places to stay are Riads. Found this 'Marrakech By Air' which is essentially a half day trip including Hot Air Balloon ride at sunrise, breakfast in traditional village, then transfer back to town by Land Rover. Toying with the idea because it is £150 a head! Anyone done this?

Go for a ride in a local taxi, they're a real eye opener!

Was there a year or so ago (also without Land Rover Sad ), great place and people.

Agree with Andrew, avoid the big hotels. I'll dig out the details of the places we used
