2010 Defender 110 Puma 2.4 SW Santorini Black

Hi folks,

after reading here as a guest for several years i decided it was time to become a member at defender2.net.
It took me from RRC 4,2 LSE over Disco3 to Defender. Because I wanted to have one since I was a little kid (Daktari was very popular in germany in the 70ies), but unfortunately it took too many years till I recognized, that modern cars become very boring after a few weeks. After realizing that I bought the black 110 SW MY 2010 last year as a christmas present for myself and I'm still grinning every morning when entering my Defender.
The first picture shows the special edition before going to the dealers garage for further improvements, the second and the third is the current status with a little less bling than it had originally. Projects to follow are getting the rims powdercoated in black and fitting a g4 front roll cage like pathfinder did.

Following things have been added so far:
larger intercooler
speed unlimiter
suspension kit matzker
handling kit matzker
svx headlamp surrounds changed to black
wheel spacers 60mm
additional heating with remote
snow cover
thrown out the original radio
checker plates in black
underbody protection and waxoiling
rearstep bumper with tow hitch
changed dual finish to classic boost rims with 265/75 tires
dog guard

Why did you ditch the SVX wheels? 2008 RS4 gone, 123d M Sport, and a Puma 90 XS..

I always liked the classic style of defenders fitted with the boosts, but in fact it took half a year till I changed the rims because the dual finish ones from the svx model were also nice, only a bit too blinky for my taste. My D3 had a lot of chrome and i just wanted a change to less shiny parts now. That's also the reason I coloured the svx front to black

that's right, it has brown Scheelmann seats in leather that came original from LR with this edition

There have been build 30 5-seaters for germany und 25 7-seaters for suisse, all manufactured in Solihull and then been upgraded at Startech/Brabus in Bottrop/Germany

60+ years of production and they still use pop-rivets to wreck the panels and that is for the small Union Jack badge... Like the steering wheel and the

brown seats would be nicer in grey or black?? 2008 RS4 gone, 123d M Sport, and a Puma 90 XS..

loving them seats the landy overall looks great and the little things like the brown gaiter to match looks proper classy
