no indicators or hazzard lights
Hi lads, just a few moments ago while turning in home, my indicators stopped working. There was a slight buzzing noise from the dash and then no more indicators. Would it be a flasher unit thats gone? It's a 2003 TD5 110.
Also is it a LR only parts or a universal Hella unit?

Thanks for any help.
Regards

The buzzing is probably the relay switching in/out rapidly? Check earths first and the indicator switch itself.

If the hazard switch itself has failed it is possible for this to stop the indicators working, but you are unlikely to get the buzzing. I think it most likely that the flasher unit is kaput.

Thanks lads. I went to the local LR dealer and picked up a flasher relay, and was suprised that he handed me out a britpart box! Fitted it when I got home but still no joy.I rang for a hazzard switch but he wanted €85 for one! and the other dealer in Dublin was €30 but hadn't them in stock so I took out the hazzard switch, cleaned all the contacts and Bingo back working again, altough I can hear a faint ticking or the relay when I'm driving along.
Any ideas what's the problem?
Cheers
