Sorry to hear. Be stoic: according to the stoics there are two distinctive things: there is the event and your reaction to the event. You are in control of your reaction, don't let it take over your day/week.
Or be like the French: it's just a car, dents happen over the life of a car.. and then you buy a new one. |

I feel your pain, it does happen but always can be put right.
Hope you feel better soon. If it’s useful and you have it in your area you might find Deliveroo or similar service useful, then you can get your groceries dropped off and take it easy if you wanted to. ____\We|Will|Win/___ ____/🇬🇧🇺🇸\____ _//*⛽️🛢️⚙️🧰*\\_ |

lt's no big deal, just life.
A mobile dent repair company will sort out the dent for around £200 The wheel arch trims are around £85 and you can change that yourself, although you'll need to visit your local friendly body shop first and get it sprayed (unless the mobile dent company will do it) |

Feeling really rotten with painful coughs and phlegm. However I did take it to the local body shop, only two miles away, and he reckons that pulling the dent out and painting the front of the wing and gloss black arch trim will cost me about £500. |
