Front wiper adjustment
Hi all, I noticed my left wiper is sitting slightly high at rest and when working with a lot of rain, moving quickly it touches the A puller with the top part. Is there any way to adjust the height setting? I noticed there may be a screw under the wiper, close to the motor. Is it that one?
Thank you

No , you have to remove the round plastic cover from wiper arm and loosen the nut.
Use a pulley puller to lift the wiper arm off, adjust the wiper arm a little lower on the splines.
Tighten the nut back with normal torque.
Put back the plastic cover. No Mud flaps for my 90.!

Thank you very much, excuse my ignorance, what’s a pulley puller and what do you mean by normal torque. Is it enough if I pull it out by hand and tighten it enough, again by hand.
Thank you again

Lift up the cover and remove the spindle nut from the end of the wiper arm. You will most likely find that the arm won't come off, and you'll need a wiper arm removal tool (photo below)

Move the arm to the correct position and replace the nut. Tighten it up.
lt needs to be fairly tight or it will slip.
By hand with a spanner is okay.

Thank you, I will try to find the tool in question to do it. Do I need a new nut after or I can use the same one?

You can use the same one.

Open the bonnet and loosen the nut (don't remove it completely) then close the bonnet and try lifting the arm up and move it from side to side, you might find it comes loose without needing the tool.
