Engine mounts, brands
I'm considering replacing the engine mounts seeing my engine is out.

Looking on Autodoc, I see 'Tedgum' mounts, at a price indicative of hopefully good quality, but cheaper than genuine LR ones. Any experience with these?

With the mounts unloaded (ie engine not in vehicle. The top stud of the mounts are still fastened to the alloy bracket) if I grab one of them by either side and rock it, there's sort of a clicking noise, but the other doesn't suffer from this. There's about a 23mm gap between the rubber and hole. When the engine was in the vehicle, they certainly weren't bottoming out but it just seems like an opportunity to swap them out now..

I’d go for genuine, so long as they’re not obscenely expensive. 1983 110 automatic OM606
