Hi All!
From what I can gather, the front stub axles have a bearing, inner seal, thrust washer, and outer seal while the rear stub axles only have the inner seals?
Is this correct? No bearings and other bits in the rear?
I'm looking to buy replacements for my tired stub axle innards and not looking to replace the stub axles themselves yet (there's a kit for that so not much problem). What brought this about is that we found the front driver side stub axle bearing was kaputt and had to scrounge for a replacement, luckily there was a used one that we cleaned and re-greased. Mechanic buddy told me to secure all the stub axle innards for all 4 corners as that's one thing I neglected to buy when I bought parts for my rebuild.
I just want to make sure that my research is correct before I start ordering stuff. It could also help if someone can post the names and part numbers of the bits needed so I can counter check and to make sure that I do not forget anything.
