I returned 2 exhausts from Demand because the welding looked horrible, and that is being very polite. The bends on the second one also had wrinkles.
Bought one from Twisted, far better workmanship. WARNING.

Thanks all, appreciated, Demand seems to be the way forward. As a follow up question would it make sense to have it re-mapped again afterwards (the first one was prior the air box and this exhaust) or is that not necessary?

May I ask was there is a big price premium for Twisted?

Wow, are you sure it was Demand ? Mine had perfect bends and welds so pretty that I spent the evening licking them !

I used Longlife Exhausts in Caerphilly, near Cardiff. I’ve used them three times so far, this time was a full 3” SS system for my Mercedes engined 110. I think they’re a National company, with franchises in various places. Essentially take your vehicle in and agree a price, sound, style etc and an installation date. I’ve no problems with mine after four years, I would highly recommend. I can’t comment on the off the shelf ones as I’ve not seen one, but I’ve seen one on YouTube on a Tdi and it sounds great. 1983 110 automatic OM606
