1997 Defender 110 300 Tdi CSW Rioja Red
Rock/tree slider fittings
I bought a set of rock sliders second hand recently and the guy said to make sure i use the correct bolts.
This puzzled me to be honest. I've had many defenders over the years. Currently an old tdi 110. The sliders are a two point fixing, one on the bulkhead bolts the other to the out rigger. So is the guy over thinking it, or am I haha.
What am I using for the fixing to the outriggers?

Thanks.

Normal 8.8 high tensile bolts I’d use. The biggest that will fit, plus washers. 1983 110 automatic OM606

Normal bolts, and plenty of copper slip is what mine have always been held on with. Thumbs Up
