Nice one and Welcome
![]() Guess you already know about the security of these things, so while you may want to spend your hard earned on upgrades and trinkets... Steering lock, pedal lock, etc etc... Layers of security. I would if not already get a fllod light where you park it at home and maybe even a CCTV.... Its a sad world we live in. ^ Other than that enjoy it, Love ours. Part of the family now and going nowhere ![]() ![]() |

good looking 90. Looking at the photo I would drop in a heavy duty parking bollard behind it as another layer of security for overnight protection. 1984 One-Ten CSW

hi @seresonenut @Stacey007 - thanks!
![]() Yes, I am fitting a tracker today and picked up a stop lock and decent wheel lock yesterday - the driveway is empty in that picture but there is normally a couple of cars in front of the garage and to the side which blocks in the 1-car width entry so its reasonably secure; as well as being in the corner of a little close. Also have two sets of cameras and floods (possibly overkill!) Its more when I'm out and about that I'm worried about but will remain vigilant!! Currently wondering what could be lurking that will flag up on the MOT that's due in a few months - I cant think of or notice anything obvious but I'm sure there will be something. Considering a trip to the local garage for a more detailed look over ahead of MOT that I and a mate (who's own a few landrovers) were able to give it. The 6month old gearbox and clutch does make me feel slightly better that its unlikely to be that at least! |

You can never over kill layers of security @OrangeAlpine!
My observation and it might not be right is Land Rovers are often taken from the driveway, or a regular place of parking so not random acts. All you need to do is make yours harder to take than someone else's! 1984 One-Ten CSW 2010 XS USW (sold) 1957 Series One 88 diesel 1958 Series One 88 4x2 1990 Defender 200tdi CSW (sold) 1989 Land Rover Ninety (sold) 1998 Discovery 2 (sold) 1995 Discovery 1 (auto) (sold) 1990 Discovery 200tdi (sold) 1987 One Ten CSW turbo diesel (sold) |

Unfortunately very true @seriesonenut - and this one is slightly more desirable than my old D2!!
I’m currently working out the best options for fixing/tie down points in the back as it’s a bit spartan at the moment… ![]() Click image to enlarge |
