Just to add to this subject. It is possible to get iDynamic on all vehicles which is a configurable dynamic mode. This lets you adjust various systems as you like to Dynamic or not. Personally I have the engine, transmission and steering set to Dynamic but I leave the suspension in Comfort mode, which is near enough the same as a Range Rover’s Dynamic suspension setting, which is stiff enough for me in all circumstances.
Auto Terrain Response can also be activated in the Pivi screen as long as the sidebar is also activated. While the driving mode normally defaults on engine cold starts to Comfort, if set to Auto on shutdown, it will default to Auto on a cold start if done within a few hours of the last engine switch off. Even on the D250, Dynamic combined with Sport mode transforms the vehicle into something of a beast. |
