Please can someone help me with ideally the same engine oil to use on 2 x 2.2 Tdci (2012 & 2016) AND a 2003 Td5.

alas no you need low saps c1 5/30 for a 2.2 puma
Land Rover Genuine Engine Oil STC50527 is their part number, it does do a few other lr 4x4.
plenty of other brands do the same spec for sensible money.

it would be a waste in a td5. wrong oil in the 2.2 can block up dpf etc and cause other issues.

td5 are happy with most grades of 5/30. older worn engines or ones that are tuned/ worked hard can use 10/40 or 5/40 as well.

Thanks for the reply advising on C1.

Becoming confused as Opie recommend a C4…🤷🏼‍♂️

yeh Opie also told me that C4 supersedes the C1 as basically C1 is not recognised any more but is still made. I purchased the Millers Titan C1 which they confirmed is fully compatible with the Millers XF C1 (which is no longer available)

c1 and c4 are both low saps, c4 is mainly specced for citroen ive read but we dont have any trouble getting c1 locally to us at the minute.

opie or any of the main oil makers and sellers should be fine and their advice should be spot on.

You can also pick a low saps oil but with higher viscosity protection such as Total Ineo MC3 5W30 (low saps and HTHS>3.5). Puma 110" SW
