Locking bonnet with dynamat
Hi all,

I’ve tried searching but can’t find anything relevant.

I’ve put the dynamat kit on my bonnet and now it won’t lock closed. The spring on the bonnet works fine and so does the sliding clip in the lock.

Any ideas?

Slacken the big nut on the locking pin and wind it out a couple of turns

I can't help with your question but do you mind telling us how the dynamat under the bonnet is performing?
I've put a similar product on all the floor panels which made a huge improvement and am now wondering what the next step is. Is the under bonnet insulation making a big difference?

I have a full length roof rack and tent so for the most part it is the wind noise that dominates in highway speed, not sure if there is a lot to be done about that.
