Could be a number of things, clearly heat marks mean a lack of lube, so definitely lack of lubrication is one but they aren't fitted with lube, but some will soak in oil. could not be fitted flush, i mean the shaft to the bush.
Also, could be also wear from bush is making the shaft move ever so slightly as you would have increased clearance between both metals. and i mean VERY slightly. Loctite the bush to RMS? Your problem isn't bush to RMS contact I am sure as the wear is on the inner part of the bush. Maybe you can apply a smear of wheel bearing grease on the shaft and bush but not necessary. Otherwise soak the bush in motor oil. If the bush was spinning on the RMS, it was a dodgy bush to begin with, and someone should have noticed that |

I too have the same screeching and plan to open and replace among other things the bushing. Previously I used special lubes on the pines https://eeuroparts.com/product/sachs/4200080050. I was going to soak the bush in gear oil and then give it a smear of this Lub at the back.

I test fitted the new bush - it literally just slides in without any tools
![]() Might try a genuine bush, but looks like it definitely needs the strongest possible bearing loctite. |

There were certainly batches of defective bushes used during factory assembly at various times. My Disco2 had the bush replaced at first service under warranty in 2002 because the sintered Oilite-type bush hadn't been impregnated in lubricant correctly and squealed loudly when the clutch was out.
