Stainless steel exhausts
Im going to fit a stainless steel exhaust - any thoughts on how to decide between Alive, Demand, Gravity & Terrafirma (am sure there are others)? I have an intercooler and stage 1 remap and recently fitted the Alisport airbox (great bit of kit) which made a really surprising difference - making me think that better exhaust flow would also improve performance. Grateful your thoughts & opinions.

I have only used Demand. Pricey but fantastic quality and really good fit.

Recently fitted a Terrafirma straight thru stainless middle and back, with the back being 3โ€. Not a great fit, lots of swearing to get it to mate. Looks great though, sounds fantastic and defo makes car more drivable (also has BAS remap, airbox etc). Seems robust and good value ๐Ÿ‘ Demand cost would have gone down badly with financial controller. Didnโ€™t do the decat, ran out of time, donโ€™t think I will now as v happy with sound and effect 2.4TDCI 90 - everyday brilliance

What about road permit? What is there to consider? Asking for a friend Wink

I guess the current rusty exhaust will be an issue at the next inspection and needs replacement.

I've got a Demand exhaust on the 110 and it's a thing of beauty, I would definitely recommend them. As an aside, Demand make the exhausts for Alive, albeit to a design specific to Alive Thumbs Up 2005 Td5 110 Hardtop

It may be clear and maybe included, but make sure to use stainless steel nuts or otherwise you will have contact corrosion.
