Northern Ireland 2012 Defender 110 Puma 2.2 XS CSW Orkney Grey
My Project - 1960 Series 2.
Bought this beauty a couple of months ago. Removed bodywork, suspension, axels etc. I have replaced / renovated springs, shocks, brakes, axels etc. Repainting her in pastel green - her original colour. Chassis needed a bit of patching around the front spring mounts - at some stage she has had a new half chassis. Bulkhead needed a few replacement parts and a bit of patching but should be good for a few years yet. Next job is to get the engine running then bleed brakes and clutch and replace wiring loom. Can anyone recommend a self bleeding kit as I am doing the work by myself.

Great project, kudos Thumbs Up

Can't recommend a self-bleed kit as have always involved wife or kids at this point (some willing, others not so much....) but have to say, WHAT IS THAT MONSTROSITY YOU ARE USING AS A TOW VEHICLE?

two chassis up rebuilds under my belt and now searching for a third. It's addictive!

Lovely series 2.
Just a little bit jealous. Mr. Green

Good old basic Gunsons self bleed kit will do the trick (uses tyre pressure) if you can’t find a willing or pressganged volunteer 👍

Good tip here for bleeding brakes by yourself. Skip to 8min35 on.
