Hello

I like this, I have an Ultra guage on mine and have had this for years, I love the fact the front screen I can have MPH, Revs , engine temp etc.. Its far better to read than the clocks...

I also have the night vision on another car I use, it make me smile when I drive and switch that on at night as it put's box's round people and animals almost like target practice Smile

The round screen you have, what runs the system, is their another box of tricks?

Looks great, I didn't see it so maybe you have could you have a splash screen of the LR logo when you switch on?

Also where you have mounted it near the clock, could you replecate an analague clock face so it looks std if you want Smile

If so did sell the kit what do you think it would cost?

Great work Thumbs Up

The plan is to have the following :

Central Unit that fits behind the dash

Main Screen : LR splash and all the screens including thermal. This can be the double din HDMI or the larger round display.

Clock Screen : LR splash then all the screens except thermal. TD5 52mm or Puma clock replacement.

You will be able to use one or other screen or both if you want. Separate controls on each.

I will do an analogue clock at some point to mimic the existing clock.

This is costing me a small fortune to develop as I've tried out lots of different screens and electronics to find ones that all work together. I'm reluctant to work out a price as I don't want people to tell me it's expensive then I'll stop work on it. The most expensive components are the thermal camera and tyre pressure sensors and those will be an option to keep the price of the base unit down. I'll update on the pricing once I have the custom board manufactured and pricing for bulk components.

Nice,

The thermal camera option on my other car was.... A lot and while useful if you drive a lot in the country lanes at night for animals etc I have only flicked in on a couple of times Smile

Nice as an option though Smile

You should try a crownfund, I'm sure many on here and other groups would be keen and 'invest'

Cheers

Looks great Peter ! Very sharp ! I hope you can see this through as I'm certain there's a market for it and very sensible thoughts regarding the price. I'm sure people are sensible enough to wait for it to be finished so that you can give a definitive price.
Keep it up, it's awesome
