Defender 2011 headlamp bulbs
Having just replaced my badly rusted headlamp bezels on my 2011 Defender with stainless steel ones, I am now thinking of how to improve the headlamp beam strength with a bulb upgrade. The 2010 handbook for my Defender lists the type of bulb as H7 but I am sure that is wrong and that it's an H4 - Paddock suggest replacing the original OEM H4 with Xenon 150 Performance Halogen Bulbs (Ring product). Would that make much of a difference?

H4 Osram nightbreaker are good, but you need one of the upgraded looms to make the most of the halogen bulbs.

There are several to choose from or make your own so you get fully battery voltage tom the bulbs.

I did the same uprated loom and bulbs, it made a big difference but still found myself fitting an LED light bar some time later for the Welsh winter lanes DEFENDER 90 TDCI XS,

I hope everyone is well and your land rovers make you happy

Many thanks guys. Auto electrics is not my strong point - is fitting the loom relatively straightforward?
