It probably fair to say I do more off road than the majority of defender owner, but don’t need the duratrac tyre. The bit that’s putting me off the adventure is the wet weather eating on road. Seems pretty poor. Anyone got any real world experience? Should I just stick ko2’s on and be done with it?

Thanks
Col

I've had no issues in the wet, despite driving in localised torrential downpours or 'guerilla rainstorms' as they call them here. 45,000 miles on the Adventures and still going strong. 22MY Defender 110 D300 S in Pangea Green and Contrast White Roof

The adventures are better than KO2s on wet tarmac.

They are however made of cheese and will burst very easily if you are off roading on rocky ground or even just unmade tracks.

Thanks. Off road is either muddy tracks, rough forestry roads or rocky climbs. Did 30k miles on duratracs on my 90 with no issues, only got stuck twice and that was my fault, not the tyre’s, so I’ll just stick another set on.

Depending on wheel size, a few of us in Australia have gone with Falken Wildpeak AT3W's, research
and feedback showed they behave very well in the wet on the black top, far better than the KO2's..
You can get Falkens for 18 and 20".. just not the elusive 19" yet another pommie bar steward down under
