Switzerland 2016 Defender 90 Puma 2.2 Autobiography Bering Grey
New AB owner: very refined rattle box
Our 7th Land Rover so far, it could be the best yet ☺️

Remembering my wife repeatedly saying that our last Defender (TD5) was her favourite car we’ve owned, another Defender was always on the cards. Test drove a new Defender some months back but it just didn’t fit our needs, after all how could we fit 600 bottles of wine in the back of a new 90 or in indeed a full Rayburn in one piece, some how it was just wasn’t practical enough for our needs with the super small boot and fixed seating, lovely car but too fat for us.

So that only means one thing 🤣 Defender 90 number three.

It’s a really nice example of a 2016 AB in Bering grey that’s almost completely standard. Desperately missing its mud flaps that are on order as are a few other bits and pieces. Spent a few hours cleaning and reviving the leather over the last weekends and it’s come up very nicely. Overall a clean and straight vehicle that we are very much enjoying. Mrs R had already said it’s like Rolls Royce vs our last Defenders that were 300tdi and TD5, it’s certainly a bit posh and I might have to actually clean this one, and not with the Kärcher like I used to to the hard tops 🤣
