Tuning remap to D350
Hello everyone,

I want to upgrade my D200 X-Dynamic HSE 2024 to D350 and it’s now available…but I see all price…from £395 to £800 + vat…

It’s only to put a factory program on the ecu, right ?

Why such a price difference???

Not convinced the D200 to D350 is as straight forward as you think as from memory it’s not just a tune that is required - some mechanical work may also be required and changing of components Thumbs Up Gas, Grass Or Ass - Nobody Rides For Free

Prices do vary a fair amount, similar to those offering CCF activations for things like ACC and dynamic mode - range from £50-300 for each from a lot of places

For those it's worth getting the GAP tool or the JetPro software, the latter of which can do the power upgrades I believe too

l think you can upgrade the D200 to 300hp but not 350.

Still a worthwhile increase in power.

There is at least one company offering the 350 upgrade for pre MY25...

From the D200? That's quite a step up, 75% more bhp

Potentially slightly different cooling systems but the engine itself is mechanically identical I understand

No different to other manufacturers who map up/down based on models, but certainly allows for a bit of headroom if looking to increase outputs and some of the gains from factory spec are enormous

I’m sure I’ve read somewhere the turbo/turbos are different but hey the folk using a hacked Pathfinder would know - would stay away from a non genuine tune, ok not from a LR dealership but an actual D300/350 map etc. Gas, Grass Or Ass - Nobody Rides For Free

You can Upgrade from D200 to D250 with just Software changes. With D300 comes a auxiliary cooler on the front side.
So with that in mind, from D300 to D350 is also just a software change. New Defender 110 D200 S | Freelander 2 SD4 Metropolis

l ordered a D200 back in January 2022 as it was fine for my needs. After a few months waiting (delivery was quoted as 12 months) the dealer told me l could not have the D200 as it was "not currently available" and l would have to have the D250....take it or leave it.

The cost was an extra £3,000, a nice little LR earner for a few lines of code. The D250 is great but after what l paid, your quotes are a bargain!!

I’m pretty sure the D200 is a I4 while the D250,300,350 are an I6. Therefore, you can’t upgrade it into a ‘true’ D350. But I guess you could upgrade it into 350 hp if the engine permits in terms of strength. Current (LR):

No, you are wrong!! D200 is not a I4, it’s a I6 too!! …in another order of things…These guys, Venture Automotive, in Bolton claim to do it, to everyone from D200, D250 or D300 and also remotely anywhere in the world!!
