Coolant Hose Plastic Fittings Upgrade | |
Hi All!
Part of my truck rebuild was to upgrade all coolant hoses to silicone from Roose Motorsports. Nice kit, I even ordered the stainless steel clamps. All was well until we smelled some coolant every time after running the engine and it would require some coolant top ups. It was later found that one of the plastic T junction pieces cracked. Luckily, my mechanic had a spare and all is well... for now. I now once again smell some coolant from the engine and fear that maybe one more of these plastic junctions or elbows could be compromised. This being the case, does anyone have the diameter measurement of these fittings? Was thinking of changing all of them out with stainless steel ones for longevity and dependability. If the fittings cannot be bought in stainless steel, I was thinking of having some made up. Unfortunately, these junctions and elbows are not available separately and only come with hose sections that you order.
Any help or advice on this idea and possibly what to do would be greatly appreciated. No Better Friend, No Worse Enemy

Appreciate any leads for the stainless ones, Mo.
Also, I don't have the measurements for the fittings but will still try and look. No Better Friend, No Worse Enemy
