Wow, 412 views and only 1 comment - speaks volumes!
Wonder if the Diff recall has been completed yet? Gas, Grass Or Ass - Nobody Rides For Free "UNDERSTEER" ----is when you hit the fence with the front of the car. "OVERSTEER" ------is when you hit the fence with the rear of the car. "HORSEPOWER" ----is how fast you hit the fence. "TORQUE" -----------is how far you take the fence with you. |

I have an OCTA Edition One and absolutely love it.
This is our 11th Land Rover product and I replaced a 2024 Range Rover LWB with the OCTA. The ride is just as smooth in comfort mode (albeit with firmer sport seats), and the wind noise in the OCTA is better than my Range Rover (the L460 has a lot of wind noise issues). I've also had Porsche, BMW's and Benz's and the acceleration and handling of the OCTA is unbelievable for an SUV. The responsive ness of the suspension is incredible. We live in the land off complicated multi-turn roundabouts and I can bomb through them and this thing stays flat. Everyone who rides in it gives it praise, this includes friends who would have no fear giving me their actual feelings. The looks compared to a standard Defender in person are stunning. I've come out of stores and found people standing around it, at a hardware store there was a guy actually under it looking at the rear suspension - as I approached asking, "can I help you?" the wife who was standing there said her husband had apparently fallen in love. 11 Rovers over 30 years this is by far the best engineered and most fun to drive of all the ones we have had. The spooky thing is now my wife is publicly stating she would consider getting rid of her beloved Range Rover Supercharged full size for an OCTA. |

I know a chap who's got one and says it's unbelievably good. He's got a Ferrari's and previously drove a standard new Defender, so I take it as high praise from a man who knows. Albeit a LOT of money! James
