I'm assuming yours has the three individual middle row seats (for the 1999 Defender) not the 60;40 split middle row seats? It's not clear from the parts diagram but try part number 331709 which is an M6 shouldered bolt "BOLT M6 SHOULDERED FOR SEAT FRAME DEFENDER"

That bolt looks like 1/4 UNF to me (as it's a carry over from Series it is likely to be imperial).
Anyway, that would be correct for the 3 individual seats. For the 60/40, the shouldered bolt appears to be MWC2522 - but this is NLA 1988 90 Td5 NAS soft top

Scrub that, I think I've found it:
Bolt: SH604071L - 1/4" UNF x 7/8" Spacer: MXC2751 Washer (Plain not felt): WC600045L - 1/4" ID 3/4" OD Source: https://parts.jaguarlandroverclassic.com/p...and-rover/ 1988 90 Td5 NAS soft top

Thanks so much!
Yes, this is for three individual seats with headrests that aren't original to the car (I probably should have mentioned that). I have the originals; the previous owner wanted headrest seats for the kids. The bolt seems to be imperial, and M6 bolts aren't threading correctly. Thanks again. |
