Rear Tub & Bulkhead Carpeting
Hi all,

I am keen to carpet the rear tub in my 90HT. I have carpet side panels so just looking to do the tub floor, arches and rear of the bulkhead (it's full height in my 90, not a reduced or cut away version). Currently looking at the Exmoor Trim set.

However, I can't see any where that sells the carpet for the front of the bulkhead (for behind the front seats). OK, I guess I can get a piece of matching carpet - Veltrim etc so no problem.

Question is, how have people finished it at the top of the bulkhead, as it doesn't look like it goes over the top of the metal. In fact I would prefer it not to as I fear with regularly putting stuff over into the back from the front it would get worn out.

Is there a replacement top bar that can be sourced? I can probably get one made, then raptor coat it and rivit on but would rather not.

Just inetrested to see what others have done to finish off the top ofthe bulkhead.

Cheers.

I took the capping off, and then refitted it over the top of the carpet to give a nice finish and a hard wearing edge.

Hi,

That’s exactly what I’m after.

Thanks. Is it just a matter of drilling out the rivets and then replacing? Not something I’ve done and to me sounds scary but I’m sure I can manage!!!

Yep just drill out, match the drill bit diameter to the rivet head, I'm not sure of the rivet size to replace though sorry
