Purple I recall is the interior light circuit that also extends to the door switches thought the AS10 to control the delay and eventual switch off to avoid battery drain.

As above. Goes to the rear door light switch that is mounted about centre door height.

Thanks guys, well that doesn't exist anymore and hasn't since I've had the truck. So guess previous owner cut the wire and left the rest that goes around the roof for some reason!
