straight swap, just ignore the labeling of the ports and connect it up in the exact same way as your old unit came off. you'll need a diagnostic tool that can do the ABS power bleeding to each wheel.

I had a similar thing with the ABS when I had a TD5 Defender. At the time I had the original Nanocom unit and I used it to run the ABS pump which sounded sluggish. Thinking there was nothing to lose I used the Nanocom to run the pump on each wheel in turn and after going round them all a couple of times the pump was running much faster and more smoothly. When the problem returned a few months later I put a reminder in my diary to cycle the pump every two months and all was well for several more years after which I replaced the Defender. Cheers, Guy.

Hi all, I have just bought a 2007 defender 2.4 Puma, and I need to replace the ABS unit (part SRB500550), I can’t find a new one or a second hand one anywhere. I’ve heard people mention the Disco 2 hack so was just wondering if anyone had any info at all on which might be a suitable replacement part? Huge appreciation in advance! Thank you
