Made by Defendoor in the Czech Republic, as it was a simple modification to counter the disadvantages of the recessed filler neck without a flap. Since the Czech company and its product unfortunately no longer exist, and there is still a lot of need for fuel covers for the Landy, So Nakatanenga have teamed up with the specialists from TREKFINDER and revived the product. Sold on eBay for a good price

I had two of the originals, first one was lost, the second came off even though it was tethered.
They are pretty decent, but I didn’t bother with any again, inevitably they seem to grow legs or vanish driving along. ____\We|Will|Win/___ ____/🇬🇧🇺🇸\____ _//*⛽️🛢️⚙️🧰*\\_ |

They do help to prevent rust on the seams of the filler recess. Though probably more of a cosmetic appearance. For those who like Welsh Mountains and narrow boats have a look at my videos and photos at..

They prevent the filler recess from filling with mud on Defenders that are used as intended.

They could deflect a stick going in there from a hedge, but likely take it out with it too ____\We|Will|Win/___

Good idea but i regularly keep Millie's area clean and i drilled 2 holes, one each side at the bottom so the water can drain out

You can print them as well with rubbery plastic. A friend printed mine.

Are you satisfied with your rubbery aperture bung, Mo? One life - get one.
