No problem! yup slight drone but if you're gentle with the accelerator it's not bad tbh

RRSSS did you end up using the non-resonated pipes? Trying to follow what the final winner was. Also curious if you tried the “cheap” solution of unplugging and using dummy plugs. New to this, just picked up a 525 V8 and wish it was louder or could activate exhaust like other vehicles.
I think Bear is on this chain, saw he was also looking at the GAP G4 options for V8 is there a list? I see so many single posts, trying to determine if worth it. |

That is loud! Probably too much for me/neighbors etc. ok appreciate the info. Are you using the G4 tool? Decent options on a V8? bear100 had asked others but I had not seen any replies. Want to lower ride height a little and change a few basic settings.
On Milltek, wonder if the remote for valves they sell separately works on stock? 2023 Defender P525 110 V8 2023 Range Rover |

Hi everyone.
I'm considering the Milltek catback for my daily but the reviews online seem polarizing so not sure. Some folks say brain numbing drone at cruise speed, while others say it's awesome and that everyone should upgrade. Shrug. Those who have had the chance to put some mileage on V8 OEM vs. Milltek Res vs. Milltek Non-Res: Do the Milltek options retain the "fun factor" after some time, or are you gravitating back to OEM and the balanced compromise it gives? Which option are you sticking with? Thanks! |

So I've had the resonated, then very quickly upgraded to non-resonated (since Jan/Feb). I don't really daily mine, but yes with the non-reso I think you'd struggle to live with the noise on a day-to-day basis going by your message.
It doesn't bother me for the time being though. If it's "too drony" at lower revs, just move to Sport so revs rise up. However, it is very anti-social! I think if you're worried about too much drone or too noisy, I'd settle for the resonated system (I went with brushed titanium tips as it blends with the rest of the system and is similar finish to OEM). |
