Autoglass for heated windscreen?

Hi all

Has anyone on here used Autoglass to replace a heated front windscreen on their Defender? How did you find them? Did they do a decent job?

I Went through what seemed like lots of screens over the yrs and used whatever company was assigned to the windscreen insurance , usually Autoglass. I’d always called to remind them that’s it’s a Landrover windscreen and to make sure the fitter has string as he’d be fitting it ‘Old school’. If he’s coming to your home then YOU do the cleaning around the frame inside and out when it’s lifted out. If your old seal is cracked or perished then insist that it comes with and is fitted with a new one. You’ll have to call the autoglass shop to make this happen.
