TD5 110 2002 fuel gauge empty/dash fuel light on
Hello all!
Several county/defenders in the family! Curent issue with my father's 2002 TD5 110 wagon (australia) the fuel gauge shows empty and the empty light is continually on, lit up on the dash.
He recently changed out the fuel filter, not sure if that's just a coincidence for timing of the issue? (Tank actually has fuel in it) any pointers would be appreciated or if anyone has experienced this issue? The vehicle is in fantastic condition but has many a day not being driven, hence low kms

I would think the sender unit, inside the tank has failed or got stuck. Worth testing the wires first.
