Intermittent Cut Out at Idle - 2.2 Tdci
Ethel is acting up. When I sit at idle, every now and again she either almost cuts out or does. She hasn't done this while driving but of course on a gear change or at a roundabout etc she has started to cut out. She always re-starts.

I've ordered everything for a service. So, I'll do fuel filter, engine oil, oil filter, air filter, pollen filter (who knew?) 4 New Glow Plugs

When I graph the fuel rail pressure it sits at 26-27K but when it coughs it jumps up to 39k briefly.

Carly threw up the following: P06B9 (Glow Plug 1) P06BB (Glow Plug 3) P0191 (Fuel Rail Sensor) P253F (The latter seems to be indicating oil quality has deteriorated)

Is this procrastinated over Glow Plus which has affected Regens and contaminated oil? Or perhaps glowplugs and a grotty fuel filter?

Fuel filter looked newish, changed but still happening. Oil change, oil filter next and those glow plugs. Dorothy - 2001 Defender Special Vehicles TD5 Hardtop (Ex Scottish & Southern) Side Lockers, Side Hatches - Poorly chassis and bulkhead. (SORNd)
