[Wanted] Engine hoist borrow/hire near Basingstoke
Hey, bit of a random one but does anyone have an engine crane/hoist they'd be willing to lend/hire out, close to Basingstoke, Hampshire? I've stripped my stage one down to the chassis but before I work on sanding that for painting I want to get the engine/gearbox off.

I've found country hire that rents them out but getting access to a trailer on a specific day is proving difficult, would prefer a more relaxed arrangement if possible. Also found one for sale in Andover, but the seller isn't replying to my messages

Any bed bound neighbours who use a hoist they could lend you? I’m not joking- the guy who delivered one for my aged father went to collect another and found an engine dangling from it in the back kitchen (they are often on loan from the local authority)
