l am actually surprised it's taken so long for the used market to become saturated. When 90% are bought on PCP nobody wants a three year old one that they have to find £50,000 for.
The only exception is the "Commercial" version because the tax breaks are still available to businesses who buy used ones. For instance a used Commercial at £50,000 including VAT Subtract the VAT makes it £40,000 then get the tax back on the purchase it's down to £32,000. |

You will find commercials pretty saturated too.
JLR Dealers are trading out nearly new Commercials for independent Forecourts to ensure they meet their sales targets. As an example Acklam Cars always have plenty of New Commercials available. Why would independents get to retail New cars?? Not good practice Make today a little better than yesterday but not so good as tomorrow.... Defender 90 HT............Pangea Green BMW X3 Msport............Carbon Black Mini Electric................Grey. (wow!) MGB Roadster……..........Vermillion 17k miles Honda Benly CD200....Maroon --------McLouis Fusio........7.4m of fun |

l guess it had to happen eventually. With so many sold, and people no longer keeping their vehicle beyond the finance agreement, all these cast off vehicles have to go somewhere.
l had a look at Acklam Cars and they do have a fair bit of stock. They're not giving them away though....the cheapest is a base model 2023 23,000 mile white D200 90 Commercial at £44,990 + VAT which was pretty much the retail price when new. |
